Conservation
North Norfolk Birds is committed to supporting conservation and we promote positive conservation messages through all our tours.
Supporting conservation is an important part of the North Norfolk Birds mission and we therefore undertake to donate 5% of profits to conservation. This is a very practical way in which we can help to conserve the birds and habitats which we all enjoy and also gives our clients the satisfaction of knowing that simply by taking a tour with us they are supporting conservation too! North Norfolk Birds supports the work of the following organisations:-
- Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) – www.rspb.org.uk
- BirdLife International – www.birdlife.org
- International Crane Foundation (ICF) – www.savingcranes.org
North Norfolk Birds also seeks to minimise its environmental impact by offsetting all its business mileage and office carbon emissions through a contribution to the World Land Trust. These costs are also borne by us and not passed on to clients but you can make your own personal contribution too! Why not offset the carbon emissions from your own car journeys or from your stay in north Norfolk? Go to www.carbonbalanced.org for full details.
